Shannon Imaoka took the American Chemical Society Orange County Chemistry Olympiad Local Section Exam, along with over 350 second-year chemistry students and placed in the top 12
Shannon Imaoka (IM, ‘28) took the American Chemical Society Orange County Chemistry Olympiad Local Section Exam, along with over 350 second-year chemistry students. Placing in the top 12, Shannon advanced to the US National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO), which was held in April 2025. Shannon is the second student in the history of OCSA to advance to the USNCO. Additionally, Shannon was honored at the American Chemical Society Awards banquet in May.
