OCSA High School Science Olympiad, led by Olympiad Coach and Chemistry Instructor Heather Jonson, competed in the High School Regional Science Bowl competition at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in March 2025
OCSA High School Science Olympiad, led by Olympiad Coach and Chemistry Instructor Heather Jonson, competed in the High School Regional Science Bowl competition at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in March 2025. They were one of eight teams to advance to the double elimination round. This was the team’s second year in a row of advancing. Just like in the previous year, Science Olympiad placed fifth out of 20 teams. The team also placed Third at the Orange County Science Olympiad Regional Championships at University of California, Irvine in February. They then went on to place Sixth at the State Competition at CalTech in April. The team earned medals in ten events. Listed below are the students who competed in the respective events:
