Ava Villacorta (MT, ‘27) and her group Mālama were selected as one of the Dragon Kim Challenge Finalists for 2024. Ava, alongside team members who attend different high schools, created Mālama to help combat elderly loneliness and depression and promote joy and community by hosting Polynesian arts performances in elderly care facilities.
