The Orange County School of the Arts currently serves nearly 2,200 students in grades 7 to 12 from more than 120 cities throughout California.
The school provides a variety of transportation services to students and parents to assist in their daily commute to school.

Parking Passes are currentall SOLD OUT for the 2nd Semester.

On Campus Parking Permits

All students who drive a car to school must obtain a Parking Permit and register their car(s) with the school.  Parking permits are available for purchase through the school website.  Permit cost for the school year is $60.00.  For safety reasons, students may not go to their car during the school day.  If a student loses the parking permit, there is a $5.00 replacement fee.

Students may park as follows (please refer to map):

  • Lot H is for Senior parking ONLY (green permit)
  • Students may park in Lots A, B, C, E, F, G and H all day
  • Students may park in Lots D and I afternoon, Monday-Friday
  • Lots D and I are for Staff parking ONLY from 7:00am until noon, Monday-Friday
  • Parents and Students must agree to all Parking Permit rules and regulations

Parents and visitors to OCSA may park in any spot labeled "Visitor" in Lots D and F. If visitors park in a lot without obtaining a “Visitors Parking Pass” from campus security personnel or the Reception Desk, they are subject to a parking ticket, or being towed at their own expense. Parents/Visitors may park in all designated OCSA parking lots after 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, and all hours on weekends.

  • The cost of an Annual Student Parking Permit is $60.00.
  • Student Parking Permits must be visible on the lower corner of the windshield on the driver's side.
  • Students must park all vehicles in designated locations only and must not block traffic/fire lanes.
  • Only Seniors may park in the Senior parking lot/spaces (please refer to map).
  • Students may not park in the Staff parking lot during the instructional day
  • Students must drive at a safe rate of speed and not drive in such a manner as to endanger themselves and others.
  • All accidents and/or damage to vehicles that occur on campus must be immediately reported to Room 100.
  • The School is not responsible for theft or vandalism to any vehicles parked on OCSA property.
  • Student Parking Permits must be turned in to Room 100 if student no longer attends OCSA.
  • Permits that are lost, stolen, or destroyed can be reissued for a replacement fee of $10.00
  • Any violation of OCSA's Parking Rules and Regulations may result in school disciplinary action, including the possible loss of parking privileges, referrals, law enforcement citation, and/or towing at the owner's expense

OCSA Metrolink Shuttle

  • We have a school bus that picks up OCSA Metrolink riders in the morning at the Santa Ana Station and returns them to the station after school.
  • This parent-paid OCSA Metrolink Shuttle*, provides station-to-school-to-station bus service from the Santa Ana Train Station. This shuttle is used in conjunction with a parent-purchased Metrolink Train ticket.  Student Discounted (25%) Metrolink Train One-Way and Round-Trip, 7-Day, and monthly passes are available directly from Metrolink.
  • The OCSA school bus leaves the Santa Ana Train Station at 7:45 am and arrives at OCSA approximately 10 minutes later.
  • After School, the 7th and 8th grade school bus leaves at 3:35 pm, and the 9th - 12th grade bus leaves at 4:55 pm, arriving at the station about 10 minutes later.
  • An OCSA Shuttle Pass (issued by OCSA) is required to board the OCSA Metrolink Shuttle Bus and can be purchased during Online Registration or at any time throughout the school year.
  • Also, in an emergency, "one-way" OCSA School Bus Passes are available at the 1st floor reception desk. These passes are subject to availability due to limited seats on the School Bus.

    * Depending on your arrival schedule, Free Public OCTA Bus transportation from the Santa Ana Station to OCSA may be available to Mertolink riders.  See OCTA Route 83 (Anaheim-Laguna Hills)

OCSA School Bus - Los Alamitos

A "traditional" parent-paid Yellow School Bus is available from/to the Los Alamitos/Rush Park area.

Partnership with Pogo for Carpool/Ridesharing Opportunities
At OCSA, creating a community is a priority. So is easing transportation barriers for our current and future families. We have partnered with an award-winning company, Pogo, using the free iPhone and Android mobile apps to help you discover families that live near you and connect you to a carpool.

Pogo Rides is free to download and helps OCSA families share rides to and from school.  Once you download the app and create your profile, you can find other parents going your way, and manage carpool rides by setting up a schedule that integrates with your phone calendar.
