STEP 4: Create an OCSA Parent Connect account to access carpool and social connections in your area. (OPTIONAL)
OCSA Parent Connect is a resource that allows parents/guardians to “find” one another for social gatherings, carpooling opportunities, commuting groups, and Metro commuting groups.
If you are interested in joining Parent Connect, please follow these instructions:
- Visit the website at ocsarts.ridecircle.net
- Click "Create Account"
- Fill in all your information and specify your family's preferences
- View the interactive map and use a variety of filters to find other OCSA families with similar interests
It is also important to note that no one’s exact location is indicated on the website – instead, families will be able to see a general location and will then have the option to reach out to others based on their communication preferences. This is a great way to locate regional groups for get-togethers or to form carpools.
The more families who participate, the more thorough of a database this will be, so please spread the word!
STEP 5: Join/rejoin an OCSA parent organization. (OPTIONAL)
PSO
For People Supporting OCSA (PSO) memberships and PSO member discount packages, including student planners and logoed merchandise (all orders are fulfilled by OCSA PSO), please visit the PSO website.
Encore
Encore is a social membership group that allows parents/guardians to interact with administrators and families from other conservatories, while experiencing all that OCSA has to offer! For Encore memberships, or for more information, please visit www.ocsarts.net/Encore.
IMPORTANT: Please be advised that holds will be placed for On-Campus Registration if the following are not complete and/or submitted prior to registration:
- Payment of outstanding textbook fines from prior school year
- Aeries Data Confirmation and Authorization Completion
- Incomplete or missing Conservatory Funding Agreement (CFA) forms
- New Students ONLY: Final semester report card/transcript, birth certificate, and/or immunization record as required by the State of California
2026-2027 Update-Extended Care
OCSA does not offer an Extended Care program and asks that parents pick students up from school when their instructional day has completed. If parents are not immediately available to pick students up from school, students may wait for their parents in the Lisa Argyros Commons or in the Student Lounge, as these are the only spaces on campus that will be supervised.
Supervision will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Conservatory Days and at 2:30 p.m. on Non-Conservatory Days and conclude at 5 p.m. each day. If Middle School students need to remain on campus to wait for their parents during Block 9, they must remain in the Student Lounge to ensure they are not disruptive to ongoing high school conservatory classes.
Any student who is waiting after school hours for a rehearsal to begin must be in a location approved by administrator or conservatory director.
