Mr. Patrick Williams earned his bachelor’s degree in illustration design from Art Center College of Design and his master’s degree in drawing and painting from California State University, Long Beach. He actively pursues his own creative artwork and is also an adjunct faculty member at Orange Coast College. 

Mr. Williams has dedicated his career as an arts instructor to creating transformative and empowering opportunities for young artists through education. He began his teaching at Orange County School of the Arts in 1999 in the school’s elective program and Visual Arts Conservatory before being named the Director of the Design & Media Conservatory in 2012. Mr. Williams is now credited for creating one of the most innovative high school digital media programs in the country.

Kara Johnson is a 2021 Laguna College of Art and Design Game Art alumni with a passion for 3D modeling and 3D art. Additionally, they pursue personal and freelance work, and enjoy exploring new game design platforms and programs.

Ms. Rebecca Morel earned her bachelor’s degree in animation at the Laguna College of Art and Design. In addition to her work in the Design & Media Conservatory, she teaches at the Joyarts Studio and works on freelance and story art projects. Ms. Morel has been the Design & Media Conservatory’s resident animator since 2013 and also teaches in the school’s elective program.

Adolph Soliz

Mr. Adolph Soliz graduated from the Laguna College of Art and Design where he studied character animation. He has since had great opportunities to work with a wide variety of people and projects, including Disney. He has been working over the years as a teacher and freelance illustrator, and Mr. Soliz is also currently focusing on creating his own children's books and a graphic novel.

At OCSA, Mr. Soliz has enjoyed being part of Design & Media, sharing his knowledge with OCSA's student artists.
