Ms. Allison Bushman comes from an impressive background in education, the arts and business development. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Utah Valley University. Ms. Bushman’s professional career is rooted in education as a credentialed teacher and coach in Utah. From education, she transitioned to the world of business development. Ms. Bushman’s extensive background in business includes work in branding, marketing, event planning and sales for the past 21 years. She has worked to develop innovative programs and practices for Fortune 500 companies as well startups. On the artistic side, Ms. Bushman is an accomplished pianist and for the past decade, she has maintained a successful private music studio. A number of her private students have pursued professional artistic goals by signing with music labels.

Ms. Bushman was previously part of the OCSA administrative team, serving as arts and academic support as well as a leader in numerous forward facing events, including Welcome Week, Preview Days and more. She also loves all things Disney, dance parties in the living room and traveling with her family!

Shannon Chang

Ms. Shannon Chang was born and raised in Southern California. She is an alumna of OCSA’s Digital Media Conservatory, who went on to graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration. With a passion for animation, digital, and fine arts, Ms. Chang strives to improve her craft while helping the next generation of artists find their own passion for the arts.

Ms. Crystal Dancer is thrilled to be teaching at OCSA! She has been dancing, roller skating and doing musical theatre in Orange County since she was a kid. She danced down the streets of the Disneyland Resort for 15 years. She’s worked for Tokyo Disney Resort as a roller-skating pixie. Ms. Dancer also choreographed and starred in her own 50’s roller-skating swing dance show at Universal Studios Japan. She has been working in entertainment production for the past 10 years at the Disneyland Resort and Knotts Berry Farm. Ms. Dancer is an Orange Country School of the Arts, Musical Theatre alumna and a teacher for both the Musical Theatre and Arts & Enterprise conservatories. She also owns CPDW, her own production company that works with multiple event companies across the US, including The Young Americans. Ms. Dancer is a choreographer for Knott’s Berry Farm and OCSA’s Musical Theatre. She teaches dance, acting and production at Stagelight Performing Arts in Brea, workshops at Musical Theater West, and is a substitute teacher for OCSA’s sister school, California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley. When she has time, Ms. Dancer can be found baking with her two kids or loving her menagerie of animals, all named after desserts.

Joo Kim

Ms. Joo Kim graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance. She started off her music career with a project in Los Angeles collaborating with well-known jazz pianists, KPOP singers, and Grammy-winning artists. With gratitude and excitement, Ms. Kim flew to Korea and worked for 10 years. She earned Master of Business Administration while handling various recording sessions, writing lyrics, lecturing Music Business and Performance classes at Korean Nazarene University, and establishing a small hip-hop label and running indie-music label with her friends from Berklee.

As she wore many different hats in the music industry, Ms. Kim discovered an artist's life is full of questions and excitement. There are many doors to different opportunities. She is continuing with artist management and development. Ms. Kim also works as a radio station announcer hosting her interview show, and as content creator. She loves to serve the church community through singing and praising. Ms. Kim grew up with an excellent educator and Physics professor for a father, and she believes education is crucial. She has a strong passion for working with students and aspires to share with them that it is important to have impactful experiences. Ms. Kim hopes to help students see the many “doors” to their future that are available, which will lead to greater opportunities and dreams come true.

Sarah McGuire

Sarah McGuire

Ms. Sarah McGuire is a performing artist and educator who graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre and educational studies from University of California, Irvine (UCI). During her time at UCI, she partnered with "Creatively Able" to work with UCI School of Medicine to bring dance to children with cerebral palsy and on the autism spectrum. Ms. McGuire also holds California teaching credentials from CSULB, UCLA, and Mount St. Mary's University, and has served as a credential reviewer for the State of California. She is a graduate of the South Coast Repertory Acting Intensive Program and a proud candidate of Actor's Equity Association. As an Orange County native, she has worked with Disneyland Resort Entertainment, New Swan Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Orange County, and South Coast Repertory both in management and performance. Ms. McGuire has been an instructor at the OCSA since 2017, teaching courses ranging from musical theatre, acting, Shakespeare studies, and audition preparation. Ms. McGuire is proud to be a founding instructor of the Arts & Enterprise Conservatory!

Andrew Pilger

Mr. Andrew Pilger has more than 20 years of experience in production and creative writing. A television producer for FOX Sports and many other outlets, he has covered Super Bowls, World Series, and too many other major events to count. Mr. Pilger is a longtime mentor for people new to the television industry. Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Orange County, he graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications and journalism.
