Orange County School of the Arts Achieves Best Charter High School Rankings by Niche

In the fall of 2016, Niche announced that the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) was ranked as the number two Best Charter High School in California and the number seven Best Charter High School in the nation.

Niche is a company that utilizes their team of data scientists, engineers, and parents to develop annual lists, ranking colleges, K-12 schools, cities, and neighborhoods.

According to its website, “The 2017 Best Charter High Schools ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and charter school ratings.”

Since 1987, OCSA has earned national rankings from organizations, including California Department of Education, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Arts Schools Network, and U.S. Department of Education.
