About the Gala

Each year, the OCSA Foundation hosts a themed Gala, featuring a spectacular student performance, incredible silent and live auctions, and a gourmet dinner. Gala is OCSA’s largest, most prestigious fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the event contribute toward the $13 million needed annually to continue providing our tuition-free, donation-dependent arts programs. Please consider joining us for, or helping to underwrite, one of the most entertaining and unforgettable evenings of the year.

Together, we can help these exceptional young artists reach for their dreams!

Gala Health Precautions

On March 26, 2021, CDC guidelines for the Orange Tier in California increased the allowed capacity of live events at outdoor venues to 33% with assigned seating. Prior to this update, we had been planning on hosting Gala 2021 at only 20% capacity. This capacity increase, along with California’s recently announced goal of fully reopening all businesses and sectors on June 15, 2021, will enable us to accommodate a larger group of guests at Gala 2021 than originally anticipated, with a limited number of individual tickets being made available in addition to our table sponsorship opportunities.

Regardless of the projected reopening of the state and potential loosening of current COVID-19 protocols, OCSA remains entirely committed to ensuring a safe environment for our guests at Gala 2021. We will follow all government regulations that are still in place come June 26, 2021, and we will continue to work closely with Giracci Vineyards and Farms – as well as our team of vendors – on updated/improved best practices for safety and health measures. As the event approaches and COVID-19 guidelines continue to evolve, we will share more details.

Individual Ticket Holder Disclosure: Please note that all individual ticket holders will be placed at tables of eight (8) at the discretion of OCSA’s Foundation Office staff. If you are uncomfortable being seated with guests whom you do not know, we encourage you to participate in Gala 2021 via the other opportunities listed above. Thank you for your support!
