Each year, the OCSA Foundation hosts a themed, black-tie Gala, featuring spectacular student performances. Gala is OCSA’s largest, most prestigious fundraiser of the year, raising more than $2 million for the school annually.

Greeter Auditions

Interdepartmental Open Call for ALL 9th - 12th Grade Students

Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018

Times: 5:00 p.m. 

Location: DMS 215

We are looking for masters of conversation who are confident, outgoing, witty and personable.
 
Please make sure you bring the following to your audition:  
  1. A printed version of the completed, appropriate Gala application
  2. A headshot
  3. Your resume (if you have it)

Dancer Auditions

Interdepartmental Open Call for ALL 9th - 12th Grade Dancers

Time: 5:00-6:00 p.m.- Jazz/Contemporary Dancers (Combination will be taught)

6:00-6:30pm - Hip Hop Dancers (Combination will be taught)

Vocalist Auditions

Interdepartmental Open Call for ALL 9th - 12th Grade Vocalists

Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018

Time: 5:00-8:00 p.m. 

Location: DMS 115

We are looking for featured and ensemble vocalists for Gala 2019. Please prepare 16 bars of Latin inspired material from artists including Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Miami Sound Machine, Ricky Martin, Carlos Santana, etc. Suggested genres of Latin music for audition selections include bassa nova, salsa, and meringue. Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency is a plus! If you are fluent, please be prepared to demonstrate your level of proficiency. An accompanist will be provided, or bring an mp3 if you prefer to audition to track. No CDs or streaming a YouTube video for your track.
