About the Strings & Orchestra Program

The Strings & Orchestra Program is a comprehensive training program for young musicians developed with the input of professional faculty members, our special advisory board and other experts.

The program's orchestras regularly perform music ranging from Baroque to world premiers, from film scores to opera to Broadway. This gives the students in the program the unique opportunity to experience a wide range of music, to perform in a variety of settings, and to gain valuable professional experience.

The Symphony Orchestra has performed in celebrated locations including Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and concert halls in Vienna, London and Prague.

Our Master Artists Series

Over the years, the Strings & Orchestra students have worked with or met world-renowned musicians such as Joshua Bell (violinist), Yo-Yo Ma (cellist), Esa-Pekka Salonen (conductor), John Adams (composer), Stephane Deneve (conductor), Jonathan Moerschel (violist), and Johannes Moser (cellist).
