General Giving Information

The Orange County School of the Arts is a tuition-free, donation-dependent, public charter school. No student is admitted or denied based upon financial capacity. However, each school year we must raise approximately $8 million to fund the fourteen arts conservatories, and we rely on our families and the community-at-large to help us reach this goal. 

All cash donations to the school are fully tax deductible.
OCSA is registered as a non-profit organization per IRS designation 501(c)3. Please click here for a copy of the IRS letter.

Performance Program Advertising

As part of the parent giving program, OCSA families are encouraged to purchase or sell performance program advertising space for businesses. Prices range from $125 to $6,000 depending upon ad size and location.  This fundraiser begins on June 1st each year and is the one school-wide fund raiser offered to help families reach their individual contribution goals.

  2. Fax or email completed ad form with payment to 714-664-0463 or becky.parsons@ocsarts.net .

Company Gift Matching Program

Leverage Your Donation Through Matching Gifts.

Do you work for a company that will generously match cash gifts made by an employee to a secondary school or arts foundation?

If you, or your spouse, work for or has retired from a company which has an employee gift matching program, you may be able to DOUBLE or even triple your cash gift to the Orange County School of the Arts.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Select the link below, then key in your employer's name, to see if your company matches gifts.
  2. Obtain a matching gift form from your company’s human resources or payroll office.
  3. Fill out your form and forward to Becky Parsons at OCSA. You may also be able to submit your request on-line.
  4. Write a check or provide your credit/debit card number and expiration date.
  5. Send your matching gift form along with your check or card number to:

Donation Solicitation Letters

We encourage our families to solicit donations from individuals such as family and friends. Donations are tax deductible and each donor will receive a donation tax receipt each year in January for their donations from the prior calendar year. The letters below are MS Word samples that you may edit to customize for your own needs.
