Krysta Rodriquez (‘02) is a TV and Broadway actress (First Date, Smash, The Addams Family - The Musical, In the Heights, Spring Awakening, A Chorus Line). 

Dante Basco (MT, ‘93) received the 2022 Arts Schools Network Outstanding Arts School Alumni Achievement Award, which honors an individual whose commitment to excellence is demonstrated through outstanding accomplishments in the areas of citizenship, arts, and academics.

Ashli St. Armant (MT, ‘03) produced her debut theatrical production, titled “NORTH.”

The Orange County Register announced the winners, finalists, and semifinalists for the 8th Annual Artist of the Year Awards, and OCSA had five winners out of seven arts categories this year! The Artist of the Year program honors talented students across the county for their accomplishments in the arts.

Rick Messina (MT, ‘95) was nominated for an Artios Award for his work on the film "The Tender Bar."

Erin Tardibuono (MT, ‘25) was selected by producer Bruce Kimmel to sing "How Lovely to be a Woman / One Boy" and "Ship in a Bottle" in the 117th Kritzerland Cabaret Show at Feinstein's at Vitello's in Studio City.

Dylan Panetta (IA, ‘25) and Ava Grace Recana (MT, ‘26) were cast in and performed the main roles of Miss Honey and Matilda respectively in Arts & Learning Conservatory’s production of "Matilda the Musical."

Sophia Vernon (MT, ‘26) was cast in Phantom Projects Theatre Group's production of "Teens on Tour: The Center of the Universe" at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Adrienne Amanda Morrow (MT, ‘25) was cast in "A Christmas Story: The Musical" at Tuacahn Center for the Arts in St. George, Utah.

Ceci Balagot (MT, ‘19) was cast as Frankie Stein in the upcoming live-action musical movie "Monster High" which will air on Nickelodeon in 2022.

Zach Willis (MT, ‘25) was cast in the film "Dear Evan Hansen" and performed the song “You Will Be Found” as a member of the ensemble.

Adrienne Amanda Morrow (MT, ‘25) was cast in the role of Freddy and as the understudy for the role of Katie in "School of Rock: The Musical" at Tuacahn Center for the Arts in St. George, Utah. The show features the first-ever kids rock band playing their instruments live on-stage.

Matthew Garbacz (MT, '23) performed alongside actor Scott Adkins in the action/thriller film "Seized," directed by Isaac Florentine.

Justice Smith (MT, ‘13) was featured in an article by The New York Times and was also a featured guest on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE.

The Musical Theatre Conservatory’s fall production of the musical Quilters was featured in a story by Dramatics magazine that covers the production and how it became one of the 11 shows to receive main stage recognition at the 2020 International Thespian Festival (ITF). The show, originally selected for main stage presentation at ITF in Indiana, was live streamed to registered participants of the virtual festival.
