Cheryl Walsh, Alt-Senior Photography

Cheryl Walsh, Alt-Senior Photography's award winning photographer and graphic artist, specializes in High School Senior Portaits, Headshots and Modeling Portfolios, as well as Event Photography. With an emphasis on High School Seniors, her images are well known for being "personality based" with the goal of telling the individual story of each senior she photographs. Cheryl has a strong passion for creating unique and personal photographic art, which is why she enjoys working with the Orange County High School of the Arts, capturing students who get to demonstrate their passion for their art every day. As a mother herself, she is always looking to capture that "special something" in each student while they are following their passion on stage. Alt-Senior Photography's studio is based in the artists' community of North Santa Ana in which the Orange County High School of the Arts is located.

Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson is a parent of a current Orange County High School of the Arts student and has been a professional photographer and television cameraman for more than 25 years. He has an extensive background as an industrial photographer for the Aerospace industry, including ten years of experience as a staff photographer for Ford Aerospace and McDonnell/Douglas Aircraft. Additionally, he has worked for KOCE-TV 50 for 25 years, primarily as a studio cameraman. He is also currently the Information Services Manager for an advertising agency and provides independent video production and photographic services.

What is the difference between glossy, lustre and metallic?
Glossy
Glossy is a shiny finish and prints appear brighter than Matte. Printed on Kodak Edge Paper.

Lustre
Lustre is a premium finish on a heavier paper. It offers the vibrant colors of glossy with the fingerprint-resistant finish of matte. Lustre has a satin-like sheen and a modestly textured surface which you can see when the light angle is just right.Lustre is printed on Kodak Supra Endura paper, which is heavier than matte.

Metallic
With a glossy finish and unique metallic appearance, these prints have extra visual interest and depth. They are printed on long-lasting Kodak Professional Endura Metallic paper.

This paper uses a proprietary combination of film laminate layers that produce striking, three-dimensional, lasting images on an ultra-bright background. The effect is sometimes described as "chrome on paper."

You'll see extreme sharpness, brightness, and color saturation with an intense black density that increases its appeal. The proprietary laminate layers also increase the durability and tear resistance of the final print, increasing the opportunities for display applications.

What are the proceeds from my purchase used for?
Proceeds from all purchases made through the Orange County High School of the Arts photo website support the schoool's tuition-free, donation-dependent arts conservatory programs. This is a wonderful way to contribute to the school's bright and talented artists while purchasing high-quality professional photographs that you and your student will treasure for years to come. Please note that photo purchases cannot be applied toward the Parent Funding Agreement.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PHOTO PACKAGES
In order for the proceeds from your purchase to be coded and donated toward the correct conservatory program, photo packages must consist of photos from ONE show / event gallery only.

How will my order be shipped?
Orders typically ship after 1-2 business days, but a more accurate processing time will be given in the shopping cart. Some photo gifts and wrapped or mounted prints take an extra day.

6-10 Business Day shipping is US Postal Service First Class, not trackable.
3-5 Business Day shipping is UPS ground or US Postal Service Priority, trackable.
Second Business day and Next Business day shipping are UPS, trackable.

Add-on Charges: Each mounted, stretched, or wrapped canvas print, framed print, large MetalPrint, large ThinWrap, or mounted print will cost an additional $5 to ship. Large prints require extra handling due to flat-packing. We'll add $1 to your order if the largest print is 16 inches or larger, or $2 if it's 20 inches or larger, or $3 if it's 30 inches or larger.

*6-10 Business Day shipping is available for prints up to 8x10 in size.

How do I purchase items from the merchandise catalog page?
Please note that the merchandise catalog page provides a preview of merchandise items available via the photos sales website. To purchase these items, select a photo from the galleries, click on "Buy," "This Photo," and then click on the green "Merchandise" tab. You can then choose from a variety of merchandise items to add to your shopping cart.
