Where is OCHSA located?
OCHSA is located at 1010 N. Main Street in the heart of mid-town

Is the Area Safe?
Yes.
What are the School Hours?
School hours are:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30AM to 3:35PM for Grades 7 & 8 and 8:30AM to
4:50PM for High School.
Friday: 8:45AM - 2:15PM
Do you have residence halls for students?
No. Orange County High School of the Arts does not have living
facilities on campus.
Do the students wear uniforms?
Uniforms are not required. However, all students must adhere to a
dress code.
Is it possible to change conservatories once a student is
accepted?
A student should consult with his/her conservatory director for
guidance. In any case, a student may apply to a different
conservatory the following year.
Do we have to live in the area?
No. OCHSA students live in 92 cities throughout Southern California.
Some students have moved from other states and countries to attend
OCHSA.
May I attend part-time/after school only?
OCHSA is a full-time school offering both academic and arts
instruction. We do not have part-time students.
I have home-schooled my children, may they attend your school?
Yes. Home-schooled students follow the same application procedures
as any other student.
Are you a year-round school?
OCHSA follows a traditional 2-semester school year (September -
June).

Yes, OCHSA does offer summer programs. Please click here for

Does OCHSA have a cafeteria?
OCHSA has a cafeteria that offers freshly prepared, nutritious meals
at a reasonable price. Various snack foods and beverages are also
available.
Is OCHSA a closed campus school?
Yes. Students may not leave the campus.
Is parking available?
OCHSA has a parking lot on Sycamore Street, directly across from the
school.
Does the school form car-pools?
OCHSA does not form car-pools, but assists parents interested in
car-pooling by providing a car-pool sign-up sheet during the
