 Community Classes - Evening and Weekend Programs
All students in grades 4 and up welcome to attend. Students do not have to be currently enrolled in the Orange County High School of the Arts to participate. Join us this year--paint, dance, write, film, sing, design, act, play an instrument--get inspired today!

Programs for Children (Ages 9-17)

At the California ARTS Center, our mission is to provide students of all socio and economic levels with an opportunity to explore a wider range of art curriculums than may be available during the normal school day. Classes are held on the campus of the Orange County High School of the Arts, so the California ARTS Center is the perfect introduction for students interested in attending the school. Through the center’s Preparatory Arts Academy and Summer Program, students have the opportunity to participate in a unique experience in arts education.

Special January Classes
Audition Techniques for Music & Theatre (6th-11th graders)
Portfolio Preparation for Visual Arts (6th – 12th graders)
 

Programs for Teens/Adults (Age 13 and older)

The California ARTS Center offers a variety of ongoing evening classes for ages 13 and over. Classes are currently available in Ceramics and Figure Drawing and Portfolio Preparation.

Ceramics (Monday evenings)
Portrait / Figure Drawing (Thursday evenings)
Portfolio Preparation (10th and 11th graders - Monday evenings)
