Notes:
[1]
Durham School Services are a nation-wide provider of
student transportation to numerous school districts
including the Santa Ana, Garden Grove, and Newport-Mesa
Unified School Districts.
[2] Bus/Metrolink
riders are required to show a current OCHSA School Bus
Pass upon boarding.
[3] In the
event of a bus breakdown or capacity problem with the 4:55
pm Irvine Spectrum bus this bus may drop off Metrolink
riders at the SA Metrolink station before going on to its
final destination. This may delay the buses drop-off time up
to 10 minutes. |

All costs associated with this program will be based on the total number of
students riding the buses. The exact cost of the program can only be determined
when we have determent the total of bus riders. This process is completed at the
beginning of each school year. The more students who participate in the program,
the lower the annual costs are for each family. Based on prior years of
ridership the approximant cost per student for a school year is approximately
$1,800.00. Depending on the total number of students riding, the actual cost may
be higher or lower. If you wish, you may pay the amount in full at the beginning
of the school year, or ˝ the annual amount once each semester. However, I
understand that I am making a one school year commitment to participate in this
self-paid transportation program and recognized that should the number of
participants increase or decrease, my expenses may be adjusted accordingly.
Also, on a daily space available basis, “one-way” OCHSA School Bus Passes are
available for $5 (cash transactions only) at the 1st floor reception desk.
